Welcome to the new Wilson
High School Career Center. Our Career Center is large and spacious
with all of the state of the art technology to help students make
educated decisions as to what post-secondary path to follow.
Classroom
Activities
Teachers bring a multitude of
classes to the Career Center to engage in career related
projects.
I provide personal instruction in the classroom for
establishing electronic portfolios through the web-based program
Career Cruising (www.careercruising.com). Students have their own account and can
do career research or update their portfolios from any computer
that has an internet connection.
I provide instruction in
resume writing which includes a discussion on employability
skills.
Students can come to the Career Center for assistance with their
portfolio, resume, personal statements, post high school
plan and culminating project.
