Welcome to SPARX!

SPARX is a youth development program in all ten of Tacoma's middle schools as well at the Lincoln Center at Lincoln HS.

It is coordinated by Metro Parks with funding support from the City of Tacoma and facility support from Tacoma Public Schools.

SPARX includes:
• School day support and mentoring
• After school mentoring, tutoring and enrichment programs.
• Field trips on school holidays and in-service days

Welcome to the 2011/2012 School Year!

This year will bring many new and exciting changes to Stewart Middle School, from the bell schedule to class schedules, but one thing that will not change will be SPARX!

SPARX is open to all Stewart Middle School Students, absolutely FREE. Join SPARX and don't miss out on the fun & exciting fieldtrips.

We are collaborating with PAWS again this year in many ways, from Multicultural Club to Community Involvement Days. We will also be collaborating with familiar partners. You will want to be a part of this!

SPARX is a quality youth enrichment program on the school campus Mon-Thurs. 3:20pm-4:30 pm. Services include general recreation, homework help, and specialty clubs such as hop-hop dance, cooking & nutrition, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, Independent Living and much, much more.
