Hello, Welcome to my website.  I teach BSCS Biology: A Human Approach at Stadium High School. This will be the start of my 18th year of teaching and my tenth at Stadium.

I have conducted whale research off the coast of British Columbia,  Orca research in the San Juan Islands, and served on board the NOAA Research Vessel Rainier as its Teacher at Sea (TAS) in south- western Alaska. I try to relate these experiences to  Biology Class by applying real world science to the classroom.

You can see my daily TAS logs by going to Teacher at Sea.  You can also see photographs of my research and life at Stadium High School in the Image Gallery.

Parents and Students should take note of the Homework page.  This page is updated  daily and  gives the current homework assignment as well as notice of upcoming tests.

On my free time I volunteer at Mt. Rainier National Park on its Nordic Patrol  in winter and as a back country ranger in summer.

Take a look around this site and enjoy!
