Student Led Conferences (SLC) are this week.

Thanks to you all for making time for your conference. 

  • All conferences are in Club Sota, at 1117 Broadway.
  • Please arrive early, to find parking and walk to Ted Brown.

  • Please don't miss your scheduled time.
  • Rescheduling missed appointments can be very difficult.

We are the hosts for the event.
Wear nice school clothes and your good attitude.
This is a great opportunity to be positive ambassadors for SOTA.
We will meet at the PO to set up right after school, outside of Debbie's room.
Plan ahead. You will not have time to go home.
We will set up, then eat dinner together (I will have pizza for you),
smile at the people, operate the event, and before we leave, 
we will all put things back the way they were. 
We will all help put things away and clean up,
and we will go home as soon as all the work is done.
Encourage your family to be flexible and patient.
Please make arrangements for transportation home at about 8:00.

 Day of Caring is Friday, September 15, 2017

Directions to Titlow Park are at the end of this message, below.
We'll start working at 10:30 am, but you should arrive early. Donuts will be served before that. 
We will be doing community service work at Titlow Park.
Mostly,we help to clear weeds from the woods and the trails.
What to bring:
A great attitude and a willingness to help
Signed permission slips
Work gloves if you have them
Your own brown bag lunch
Families are responsible for transportation to and from the park. 
Wear work clothes.  There will be mud and dirt.
 We go, rain or shine.
Take 6th Ave. to the west, through Tacoma. At Jackson St. 6th Ave starts done the hill toward the Sound, with big, sweeping turns.
Keep going. Titlow Park is at the bottom of the hill, on the right-hand side.
For more detail, use an online map service, like Google Maps, or Mapquest.

Conferences will last 25 minutes each.

All conferences are in Club SOTA, at the Ted Brown Building.

We will do our best to stay on schedule. Please plan to be flexible, if needed.

Please plan to arrive early, to give you time to park and walk to Ted Brown. 
If you are late, it could disrupt the schedule for many other people, as well.
