Math: This week we are going to work on defining an equation. Then we will begin word problems, starting with Add To and Take From  problems.

Reading: In reading, the story of the week is “Henry and Mudge”.  We will continue to work on the comprehension skill “Story Structure”. In grammar we are working on complete sentences and in spelling we are working on consonant blends. We start practicing spelling on Monday. Whatever work isn’t finished by Wednesday is sent home to complete. If they are using their time wisely, they should finish in class.
