Ann Welton, Title I Intervention

Welcome to the Title I Intervention page!  I work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce their reading and math skills.  We took at both fiction and nonfiction texts, and work with math concepts through manipulatives and maker projects.  Students receive the individualized attention they need, in a push-in model, in which I meet them in their classrooms.  That way, they do not miss core instruction.

 Intervention News
Part of the Intervention program is parent nights scheduled with your student's classroom teacher.  Please check notes coming home for those nights, and join your child's teacher to find out how you can best support him or her at home.
Preschool Story Time
Preschool story times are on Mondays in the Library.  Check with librarian Margaret Sinding for times.  This is another great outreach program. Children who are ages 3 and 4 and are not enrolled in preschool are welcome to join our Title preschool students.  Please be advised that during the story time, parents must stay with their children.  All preschoolers can check out books. You will be set up to check out books, and the little ones can choose some from the preschool section.  Ms. Sinding can even give you a handout with tips on reading with your preschooler.
