Achievers Scholars Swift Page!
The Achievers Scholars program is for
juniors and seniors who attend Mount Tahoma High School. Each
fall, the College Success Foundation recruits juniors to apply
for the Achievers program. Once selected, students begin
attending monthly meetings, are paired with a Hometown Mentor
from the community, and invited to a summer enrichment program at a
Washington state university.
From the minute students are accepted into the program, we begin
working together with students to prepare socially and academically
for college. Students work hard to prepare for the SAT and ACT
tests, edit and revise personal statements for college
applications, learn the in's and out's of the financial aid
process, apply for scholarships and most importantly,
research colleges that will be the best academic and social fit for
the student.
