Welcome Jason Lee Bobcats!
SPARX is back for the 2011-12 school year with fun and exciting
activies! SPARX is a quality youth enrichment program on the
school campus Monday- Thursday 2:45- 4:20 pm. Services
include general recreation, homework support and speciality clubs
such as Visual Arts, Cheer & Dance, Outdoor Adventures, Hip Hop
Dance, Arts & Crafts and many more.
SPARX is free of charge. All you have to do is complete and
return a registration form to your SPARX Coordinator, Ms. Katie
Jones. SPARX is a youth development program in all nine of
Tacoma's middle schools as well at the Lincoln Center at Lincoln
HS.
SPARX is coordinated through Metro Parks with funding support from
the City of Tacoma and facility support from Tacoma Public
Schools.
SPARX includes:
• School day support and mentoring
• Lunch time recreation
• After school mentoring, tutoring and enrichment
programs.
• Field trips on school holidays and in-service days
