Kindergarteners DO have homework!
**Look for weekly homework**
Homework sheets are sent home on MONDAYS in your childs MONDAY FOLDER. Please have your child choose at least 2 homework pieces to complete along with the weekly reading log at bottom of sheet. Homework choices are then due back on the following MONDAY when your child will receive new homework for the next week.
*Homework sheets will be on BLUE paper
The weekly NEWSLETTER is on the flip-side of the homework sheet. The weekly news shares with families what we have learned in the classroom the previous week. Use the newsletter as a guide to ask your child questions about what went on in their classroom. It is important for them to share in their words new things they know!
**Kindergarten homework can ALWAYS be turned in! I accept it any time. Homework reinforces the home and school connection for the children and it also helps to encourage a level of personal responsibility for all students.
