3rd Grade Online Classroom

Hello, I am Wendy Owen. I have been teaching at Fern Hill for 8 years and have been teaching with Tacoma School District for 9 years. This is my 1st year as a 3rd grade teacher and I previously taught 1st and 4/5th grades.

I have been married for 11 years and have a 7 year old daughter named Grace and a son that is 4, named Shane.  They keep me very busy, but when not at school and when I get spare time, I enjoy horseback riding and outdoor activities. My family enjoys to camp and we love the ocean beaches.  
   

 Your support at home is a necessary component in improving student learning and increasing student skills. Your support helps me to make the most of what each of your children is learning. Please read with your students daily and monitor their daily homework in order to aid in supporting their learning and achievement of grade level standards.
