Welcome to Mrs. Wilson's
2nd Grade Class
My name is Ok Sun Wilson and I am your
child’s second grade teacher. I am Korean-American and have
taught 2nd grade for the past 26 years. I want to assure
you that I will work hard to provide your child with the best
education to which he/she is entitled. I am looking forward to
working with your child and you. Your child will be well respected,
nurtured, and educated. As you know, a good education is the key to
your child’s future success and I need your support at
home.
Homework is a review of what is taught in the
classroom and will be sent home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday. It can be done independently. However, please check to
see if it is done correctly. All homework requires your signature.
It should not take more than 30 minutes to complete daily homework.
Students who turn in 10 homework assignments will be rewarded with
a popcorn party.
If your child is allergic to certain foods,
please let me know. Some school supplies will be collected and
shared among the students.
The Fern Hill Open House will be on Tuesday,
October 11th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. I am looking forward to meeting
with you.
