       May is just around the corner! We will start our ABC count down to the last day of school on May 8. The list is on the doucument page.

          We recieved 6 caterpillars in april. We are waiting to see them turn into Painted Lady Butterflies.
        
          May 31 is a very busy day. We will be going to the museum to see the Eric Carle exhibit, its free dress day, and the PTA Carnival will be held from 6 to 8 PM.

         Field day is June 5. The primary classes start at 9:30 and end at 11:30. The students will have have lunch at 12:30. Parents are invited to volunteer or be a part of our class.
 
         On June 6 we will have "Books and Breakfast" from 9:30 to 10:15. Parents and family  members are invited to celebrate the students writing. A continental
          
         Continue to check the events page for the spirit day themes. All dates are optional dress. Students may choose to participate in the spirit wear if they wish.

         Please remember that homework goes home on Friday and is to be returned on the following Thursday. I will not take the homework out of your child's folder until Thursday.

      Please put your child's name on thier lunchbox, sweaters, and jackets. It makes it much easier to find your child's belongings. Because of the uniform policy everything looks the same and many items never make it home.

      We are still collecting "Box Tops for education" so send them to school as you collect them.

       The student day will be from 8:55AM to 3:30PM.
