SPARX is a youth development program located in all ten of
Tacoma's middle schools as well at the Lincoln Center at Lincoln
HS.
It is coordinated by Metro Parks with funding support from the City
of Tacoma and facility support from Tacoma Public Schools.
SPARX includes:
• School day support and mentoring
• Lunch time recreation
• After school mentoring, tutoring and enrichment
programs.
• Field trips on school holidays and in-service days

WELCOME BACK Baker
Bulldogs! SPARX will begin Monday, September 12th!
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of
clubs and activities. Examples include: Campus Life, Theater Arts,
Visual Arts, Sports and Games, Fashion/Design, and Outdoor
Adventures.
SPARX is open to
all Baker Middle School Students, absolutely FREE. Join
SPARX and don't miss out on the fun & exciting afterschool
clubs and fieldtrips.
SPARX is
a quality youth enrichment program on the school campus Mon-Thurs.
2:45-4:15 pm. Services include snack, general recreation,
homework help, and specialty clubs such as hip-hop dance, cooking
& nutrition, arts & crafts, outdoor adventures, girl talk,
Independent Living and many, many more.
